LifeWay IT is having Lunch-n-Learn sessions for the next few months on AngularJS and the Play Framework. Matt Clement and Ryan Means have taught 3 sessions so far with more to come. Introduction to testing in Play
The Play Framework is becoming a popular option for JVM-based web applications. Play is a lightweight, stateless, non-servlet based framework that has many advantages over traditional frameworks. One of those benefits is Play’s built in testing utilities.
By default Play uses JUnit as it’s testing framework. Within a test Play provides a class called FakeApplication that can be used to simulate a running application.
